EGRC Annual 'B' Match The weather cooperated this time as EGRC’s B/OB
and Rally Match finally took place without any interference from Mother Nature
on February 18, 2006 at Easterlin Park. The
Match was originally scheduled on October 22, 2005, the weekend that Hurricane
Wilma decided to come to town. All three judges--Obedience Judge Vivian McKinley,
Breed/Junior Showmanship Judge Terrie Pennington and Rally Judge Michele Panetta--drew
entries in the double-digits. Our
all-breed obedience and rally match garnered entries from several Australian
Shepherds, as well as a German Shepherd and Poodle, in addition to our own
breed, the Golden Retriever. Many thanks go out to our judges for being so
gracious. Also, EGRC sends a big
thank you to George Thomas, who allowed The Club to borrow his regulation
obedience jumps. Last, but
certainly not least, a huge THANK YOU is sent to the many EGRC member volunteers
and stewards who not only helped the day of the match, but also helped with ring
set-up and takedown. Without all of
you, this match could not have happened! See the photos of the winners below:
